Bulk Emails/Labels Exporting Lists To export your email recipient list, 1. Pull down the File menu while in the Student window and select Export Records 2. Name the file to be saved and designate where you want to save it 3. For Type, select Tab-Separated Text. 4. From the left column, highlight the email field and any other fields you want to export and select Move. The selected field(s) will be moved to the export column on the right.
5. Select Export. Your list will appear in the location you saved it. You can open it with a word processing or spreadsheet application. Many web-based mail programs, such as G-mail or Yahoo mail, will allow you to import lists. Using Constant Contact You may use Constant Contact to manage email lists and, send dynamic emails and view additional reports, such as open rates and click-through rates. To export your email list so that you may use it with Constant Contact you can use the same methods described above or, when you assemble your list, from the Bulk Email screen you can click on the appropriate Constant Contact button. These buttons will allow you to export your list for various e-mail services, not only Constant Contact. However, Constant Contact does offer some advantages including the ability to see who has opened and viewed the e-mail you have sent. Selecting First Name and Email will allow you to include the recipient's first Name when sending.
