Setting Up/ Preferences

Sales Preferences: Sales preferences relate to how items display when creating invoices. These preferences are set per location, under the Sales tab in Preferences.

Sales Preferences-Taxes

  1. Click on Preferences in the middle of the Home screen
  2. Select the Sales tab
  3. Under the TAX area you may enter up to 2 types of retail tax and 1 service tax percentage. These tax percentages will be applied to invoices which sell products for which you have assigned these types of taxes. (this is done in the relevant products table)
  4. NOTE: You must enter the tax percentage in decimal format, i.e., 7% is entered as .07.

Quick Sales Preferences -Hosted Users

Please contact Dharma Tribe Customer Care to indicate which 8 items you would like to have entered as your quick Sales. These items must have already been entered into your series or merchandise products tables.

 Quick Sales Preferences -Desktop Users

  1. Click on Preferences in the middle of the Home screen
  2. Select the Sales tab
  3. In Quick Sales , select up to 8 series and 4 retail items.

Sales Preferences-Cash boxes

  1. Click on Preferences in the middle of the Home screen
  2. Select the Sales tab
  3. Under the Cash Box area you may enter the titles of your cash boxes if you use more than one. These titles will be available to you to select from when selecting the payment options on invoices.

Sales Preferences-Receipt Phrase

  1. Click on Preferences in the middle of the Home screen
  2. Select the Sales tab
  3. Under the Cash Box area you may enter the titles of your cash boxes if you use more than one. These titles will be available to you to select from when selecting the payment options on invoices.
