Schedule item types
CLASS appointments are primarily for drop-in scenarios where the student's available series is applied on the attendance. Class Rosters are always manually-entered.
| WORKSHOP or EVENT appointments apply typically to single dates, but also work for for with recurring dates. They have a particular corresponding series product associated with them, which when sold will automatically enroll the student onto the roster(s). |
SESSION scheduling is similar to Event/Workshop scheduling, but is intended to be used primarily for Courses, Teacher Trainings, and other type of recurring Sessions for which you wish to auto-enroll students into the whole course. Like Event/Workshops, Sessions require a corresponding product to activate auto-enroll features. You may also create a separate "drop in" Session product that will allow you to manually enroll a student to any particular roster you designate
| PRIVATE scheduling is intended for a session attended by one person however, Private rosters MAY include more than one student, such as in a Semi-Private. The corresponding student may be added to the schedule at the time of schedule creation or after the fact. Adding students to private rosters is always a manual process unless done by the student online. Private scheduling corresponds with the Appointment view of Kula Net™ for online scheduling. |
