Setting Up/ Products

Creating Merchandise Products 

1. Select the Product icon from any window
2. Select the Merchandise tab
3. For new products, select New
4. Enter the Category

1. Choose from existing categories or click on New Category
2. Enter Abbreviation, Description, and a starting Product #

5. Enter a report category if you want reports with sub-categories Enter the product Description
6. Click Product ID for an automatically-generated serial # for the category selected
7. Enter Price
8. To run accurate Inventory Value reports, enter the Product Cost
9. Enter the Starting Quantity of merchandise.
