Bulk
Emails/Labels
Select
Recipients
There are
3 ways in which to select the list of recipients for a bulk
email or for labels
·
From the
Student window Find any one criteria, multiple sets or
email groups then select Bulk Email.
·
From any Roster
screen selecting All Attendees underneath the six icons
will navigate you to the Bulk Email page where you can send
emails or print labels or nametags.
·
From the Bulk
Email/Address Labels screen, select from the following options:
Everyone - this
includes all entries in your database
All Active Students -
This includes all entries in your database that are marked
"active." Students are marked "active" by default; they
can be switched to "inactive" from the "list" view within your
"students" database.
Everyone Who Owes -
This includes everyone who has negative class credits.
Last
Attendance - This option will prompt you to enter a date
which will stand for the last class attended by a student or
students. It is a helpful search option for you to keep in
touch with students who haven't attended in the past 6 months,
for example, so you can check in with them and remind them to
practice! *
* Desktop Users: The
"last attendance" feature may give you some unwanted results.
Do this: from the "list" view of the students, do a
"find." In the "last attended" field, enter a "range" from
the desired date (e.g. six months in the past) and today's date
(e.g. 6/1/2008...12/8/2008). Expand your screen by
clicking the rectangular icon to the left of the text that says
"find." On the gray portion of the screen to the left,
check the "omit" box. This will limit your results to
people who have not attended a class within your specified date
range.
