Using Dharma Tribe/ Sales

Quick Sales

 

Set up

Go to Preferences and select the Sales tab.

Click in the Quick Sale item field and select from your active products list.

NOTE: For hosted software users, when adding or changing quick sales items, please contact our customer care team as these items must be set by us in an offline mode.  Just let us know which items you want in your quick sales and when would be a convenient time for your system to be down for about 5-10 minutes. 

Also, if you make any changes to products that are quick sale items, you must contact us to reset those items in your quick sales. 

 

Implementation

There are two ways to execute a Quick Sale.

1.    In Rosters, click on the Quick Sale tab while adding a student to a class roster. Buttons for each class series will appear. Clicking the button for the appropriate class or series will create an invoice for that series  and populate the payment amount. After selecting the payment method, click “finish” you will be returned to the Add Student screen. Be sure to click on the selected class or series to complete the sale and return to Rosters.

2.    From the Student file, click on the Quick Sale button. That will take you to a menu full of purchase options for merchandise as well as classes. Click on the button for the correct purchase item. That will generate an invoice for that item.
