Scan
in Students
To Scan
a student onto a roster you need to:
Have
your screen displaying the roster for which students will enroll
open on the screen. The SCAN IN tab should be selected
and the cursor in the first student ID field.
Your
barcode scanner should be attached to the computer your are
using and in a position where the student can easily pass their
keytag in front of it.
When a
scan is complete there will be a beep indicated from the scanner
and the student's name will be added to the roster. In the
series applied display the most current series will display
as "pending (title)" or if there is no qualifying series
to apply, the display will read "no qualifying credits".
In either case in order to complete the application of the
pending series, click on the underlined series title.
If you
have more than one class entering at the same time, you will
need to have two computers with Dharma Tribe displaying the
appropriate roster and a scanner associated with each.
