Setting Up/ Preferences Setting Up Users, Account Names and Passwords In Preferences, select the Users tab to add employee or manager user accounts and passwords. If you are logged on with a manger account name and password, you will have full access to the data files. If you are logged on as an employee, you will have the following restrictions:
Changing User Login When changing users on Dharma Tribe, a manager or employee may login in with their own user name by selecting the Re-Login button at the bottom left of any page. A manager may create a generic "employee" account and choose to switch to that account log-in by the same method. Setting A Default User: You can set a default user name which will populate the Account Name field upon open the software. To do this, under Filemaker Preferences, (For PC users, under the Edit menu, for Mac users, under the Filemaker menu, You can select the General tab and enter the User name you wish to save a default in to the Account Name field. Forgotten Password If an employee or manager forgets a password, go to Preferences, Users, and select Reset Password and you will be able to choose a new one. If an employee or manager no longer uses the software, they can be removed by clicking Delete an Account.
